The purpose of the LATER study is to find out whether taking the drug letrozole a year or more after treatment with hormonal therapy (e.g. tamoxifen) can prevent or delay breast cancer recurring in postmenopausal women.

We are seeking 1,700 women in Australia and New Zealand who
  • have previously been diagnosed with breast cancer;
  • were treated with hormonal therapy for at least 4 years;
  • have completed the hormonal therapy at least 1 year ago;
  • have completed menopause; and
  • are currently free of breast cancer. Click here to find out more...
